About Us - New Forest Community Rail Partnership

The Lymington-Brockenhurst Community Rail Partnership (LB CRP) was launched in July 2008 with formal designation granted from the DfT on the same day as the lines 150th Anniversary.

The partnership’s stakeholders are South Western Railways, Hampshire County Council, New Forest District Council, New Forest National Parks Authority and Brockenhurst Parish Council. There are so many things to do in Lymington and the New Forest and of course the Isle of Wight is just across the water with all its wonderful attractions it has to offer. Therefore we hope that the many links on our website will help you discover and experience activities and attractions from the New Forest, to Lymington and on to the Island whether it’s cycling or walking, horse riding or sailing, the choice is vast.

Because as a Community Partnership and that we have expanded this year involving other stations it was decided to change our name to the New Forrest Community Rail Partnership as it embraces all our Partners.
